We’re moving!

With great pleasure I would like to announce some great news for Schearer’s Sales & Service and our Customers. After 19 great years at our Mertztown location, we are relocating to 5580 Quince Rd, Allentown, PA 18106 . Quince Rd is just off Hamilton Blvd in the Wescosville area. Tom & Lu Gehman have been operating their family owned Gehman’s Garage on Quince Rd since the early 1960’s and have decided to retire and enjoy some much needed time traveling. We will continue servicing Gehman’s Customers combined with our existing Customer base. The end result will allow us to better serve our Customers with a larger building that incorporates a better shop layout as well as a location more convenient to amenities such as restaurants, shopping centers, gas stations, and car washes.

While we are confident this move is best for Schearer’s and the majority of our Customers, we do realize there will be a minor inconvenience for some of you. We have a plan in place to help make this transition as easy as possible with courtesy shuttle service and loaner vehicles at no charge available from our new location. The travel time from our existing Mertztown shop to our new location on Quince Rd is a short 10-15 minute trip.

This is a very exciting time for all of us here at Schearer’s and we look forward to handling all of your auto maintenance and repair needs for many years to come. This transformation will begin Monday October 6th. Over the next few weeks we will be operating out of our existing Mertztown location as well as Quince Rd. We will be in touch again when our relocation to 5580 Quince Rd, Allentown is complete.
