Did you know your brake fluid should be serviced? Most people do not. Just like engine oil, your brake fluid wears needs service too. As brake fluid wears out, it attacks the rubber seals in your hydraulic brake components and slowly turns black. The long term effects are premature failure of your expensive hydraulic brake components. We have a tester that tells us the acid/moisture content. When the tester reads 2% or more, it’s time for service. A quick check you can do is to look at your brake fluid. If dark brown or black in color, it’s most likely time for service. Just like most European and Asian car manufacturers, we recommend this service every two years.
